The churchyard plan is
hand-drawn on a sheet
of transparent paper.
It was photographed in
overlapping sections for
website use to enable
you to see the numbers,
and often the names,
on each plot.
At the top and bottom
of each row there are
numbers in red. If you
work up or down from
those red numbers you
should be able to find a
specific plot number as
given in the
Alphabetical list of
names, and the Register
of Graves.
For your convenience in
following rows vertically
and horizontally,
sections 01 NW corner,
02 W centre + E centre,
03 East side, 04 South
side, and 05 West
centre + SW corner are
shown on single web
pages.
The images are larger
than normal, and
overlap, so you will
need to scroll your
screen up and down,
and depending on your
screen size and shape,
you may need to scroll
laterally as well. Your
browser zoom tool will
enable you to take a
closer look in detail.
Please note: In addition to the simple numbering of plots from 1 to over 1300 which are listed on
two sheets of the spreadsheet (1-1,001; 1002-end, many of the plots where ashes are interred are
marked by plaques set into the perimeter walls. It is impossible to show the individual location of
these on the churchyard plan.
The Alphabetical spreadsheet register refers to these additional sheets:
Ashes West wall South > North
Ashes South wall
Lychgate > South
Lychgate > North
North-west corner East wall
There are also plots for ashes listed as:
South church corner
North church corner
