All Saints’ Church
It all began in the classrooms of every year group - putting together separate items like oranges, candles, cocktailsticks, sticky red ribbon, bits of fruit, tinfoil and candles - to make something which says something about the relationship Christians believe God has with His world. After break, the whole school went off to All Saints’ to take part in a service in which the work of the Children’s Society  for children in all kinds of need was celebrated, and how the society took up Christingle in support of their work. The pupils worked in their classrooms with members of the All Saints’ congregation, who also accompanied their mass migration through the streets to the church and back. The activity was organised for school and church by Jenny Tarr, one of the foundation governors.
