Essie Clark kindly supplied
these historic service sheets
which were distributed for use
in “all churches and chapels
in England and Wales”, on or
close to the day of Queen
Victoria’s funeral.
They would, therefore, have
been used in All Saints’,
Wrington and the Methodist
and Congregational chapels
(the present scout hall and
URC chapel).

Similar provision was made
for the coronation of King
Edward VII, of which Essie
had kept the hymn sheet.
