At last, Leslie The ‘boys’ of Bomber Command were not honoured with a campaign medal, as other veterans were after WWII, but this has now been rectified. My brother, Leslie, gave his life on the night of May 25/26th 1943, and I now feel honoured to have in my possession the medals pictured here. Deserved recognition at last of his bravery.
