The Little Red Beetle is situated in Broad Street, between the Post Office and the Wrington Surgery. Owner Franca Knight’s dream came true when she opened up her café and gift shop just before Christmas, 2014 As well as providing delicious hot chocolate, tea, and real coffee made with a real Espresso machine, Franca serves all kinds of naughty but nice ‘bits of lush’: cake, flapjacks, cupcakes, brownies, and chocolate treats, all freshly made by local bakers. Several local artists and craftspersons are displaying many kinds of craft work: pictures, jewellery, cards, soft toys, and much more. Once the business is well under way, Franca intends to start holding craft afternoon classes and parties with a craft theme for children. The gift shop cum café’s opening times are: Tuesdays to Fridays 9am-5pm, Saturdays 10am-2pm, closed on Sundays and Mondays.
