The Post Office consultation document concerning the
future of Wrington Post Office suggests that, as Amors
will not be providing the Parcelforce Worldwide
International Parcels Service, Wrington residents will
have to go to Churchill, or elsewhere, for this service.
Sadly, this suggestion would drive even more people
away from Wrington shops, rather than attract them.
However,
The Treasury, 4b, High Street
have been providing a full international parcels service
for the last six years. Therefore, there is no need for Wrington residents to go to Churchill for this
service, as stated in the consultation document.
Proprietor, Trevor Parnham says “We hope this will complement the service to be available at
Amors, by ensuring the full existing facilities are retained within the village. In fact, we can deliver
pretty well anything, anywhere in the world, and are not restricted to one courier.
We specialise in shipping fragile items.
We can also supply all packaging materials, including boxes, bubble wrap and tape and, we can
also package items, if required.”
