The Ethicureans team at the Walled Garden Café, led by the new owners Matthew and Jack enabled us to combine a business activity with a treat, with their wine & cheese-tasting presentation. c.40 members and guests enjoyed the excellent selection of local cheeses which they had carefully matched with wines, some of which hailed from the Languedoc, the region in which Villeneuve-lès-Béziers is located. The business of the evening began with an outline by the Chairman, John Adams, of what has so far emerged as lines of possible fruitful development for the twinning process, followed by an invitation to contribute to the briefing of the 4 members of the committee about to visit Villeneuve over the weekend of 18th-21st March, and to take up membership of the Association, which was thus increased by a welcome 15 applications. As always, new members and ideas are welcome - for further information see these pages on the village website, or phone John Adams (01275 474233). www.wrington.net Click thumbnail to enlarge Photos kindly supplied by Cassie Adams Ethicurean evening 2 March, 2011
