'the FRENCH CONNECTION' current entry in the Village Journal

On Wednesday 4 November, from 7-9 pm we shall be holding a Wine and Cheese Fair at Aldwick Court. This follows a very successful similar event last year, and will feature not only French wines, but also excellent locally produced wines, cheeses and charcuterie products. These will all be available for visitors to taste and to buy. The cost of entry will be £10 for members of the association and £12 for non-members. A free minibus service will be available from The Plough. Full details of the event and how to reserve your places will be published shortly. On Saturday 17 November, at around mid-day, the Association will be holding its Annual General Meeting in the Wrington Memorial Hall. As well as dealing with the (short) formalities of the meeting, the committee intends to create a fun event for the whole family and there will be suitable refreshments with a French flavour.
