Wrington WI’s annual fund-raising event means an impeccably prepared and served menu of traditional fare - Somerset cheese ploughman’s followed by a bewildering array of home- made puddings. The lashings of cream and other naughty ingredients mean it’s one of those times anyone on a diet weakens and thinks “just this once”.
