www.wrington.net After 24 years as a parish councillor, the last 4 as Chairwoman, Echo Irving attended her last meeting before the May elections in which she would not be seeking re-election. After calling the meeting to order, receiving apologies for absence and moving to ‘Public Participation’, her Vice-chairman, David Glynn paid tribute to her long service, and presented her with tokens of their colleagues’ appreciation. Cllr John Rawlins had had the foresight to table wine and soft drinks, and a toast to Echo was proposed, seconded and passed by acclamation. Unanimous hear, hear !
