The opening meeting of Wrington Farmers’ Market, held in brilliant sunshine on the forecourt of The
Plough Inn. The brainchild of Michael Berkley, Jason Read and James Langford attracted 14
enthusiastic sellers and local shoppers whose numbers rapidly swelled over the morning, encouraged
no doubt, by the prospect of coffee and cakes in the pub.
