The subject of this flower
festival in All Saints’
church produced a wealth
of both beauty and
humour.
The Mothers’ Union and
Evening Mothers’ Union
members supplied
welcome tea and cakes,
experiencing sudden
increases of thirsty souls
immediately following the
pageant performances.
Many of the displays were
sponsored, and were
dedicated in memory of
loved ones.
