After a spell of gloriously sunny weather, the local forecast the day before suggested the fete could well be drenched
before closing time. However, the rain held off, and there were even some good sunny intervals. Once again, Nick and
Jeanette Read played host - the fete in the Court House paddock, and the WI very busy with their popular teas,
working out of the kitchen.
